About

Born and raised in Raki Raki, Fiji. Mohini moved to Australia in 1991. Her burning desire for fashion designing never diminished whilst being a mother and professional career woman.

 

From the young age of 12 Mohini helped her mother sew school uniforms for her siblings, by the age of 15 she began to design and sew her own clothes, cultivating her deep passion which turned into her love for fashion.

Mohini draws her inspiration from her heritage, coming from a line of seamstresses dating back to her grandmother. She is committed to creating beautiful clothes that are timeless with an exquisite fit and of superb quality. Mohini finessed her talents through obtaining a Bachelor of Fashion Design which lead her to pursue her dreams of founding Shikanzy.
